| Aarakocran |
Aarakocrans are bird-men, a little taller than humans but far lighter, with hands built into the leading edges of their wings. They fly from the day they are made and hunt by sight, and they speak with the birds.
The aarakocra come from the Elemental Plane of Air, where they served the Wind Dukes of Aaqa in an ancient war against elemental evil. They are uneasy under any roof and loathe caves, and in the mortal world they nest on high peaks far from other peoples. |
