| Every drow is born with light sensitivity. In dark places they see clearly, but in well-lit places, above all in sunlight, their attack and defence suffer. |
It is the price of a life spent in the UnderDark: plan to hunt at night, or underground, where drow are at their best.
Sunlight is the drow's oldest weakness: in its glare they fight and see at a disadvantage, one reason they so rarely raid the surface by day. |
