The thief is able to use two glass drinking cups and some sort of raw cloth to stretch a long tapline between the room he wishes to tap, and some destination room. The distance the line can be stretched depends upon the thieves level and alertness expertise. If, while stretching the line, the thief runs out of either cloth or distance allowance, the second cup must be put down. At the destination, the thief will hear, through the second cup, all that is said in the room where the skill was involved, where the first cup was hidden. |
