When in a pub, the pirate uses this skill to buy drinks for numerous patrons and staff, in the hopes of getting information about nearby ships, especially merchant vessels. This first time this is done in a pub, the pirate will learn the names of nearby vessels. The second time reveals the names and distance of the ships from shore. The third time reveals the names and directions to the ships current locations from the shore. This only works in a pub within a limited distance from the shore, since that's where the other sailors drink. |
